2009 Theme: For you O Lord are my hope, my trust, from my youth ... O God do not forsake me, until I proclaim your might to another generation, your power to all those to come” --Psalm 71
Celebrate Recovery
Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered program for anyone who desires freedom from their hurts, habits and hang-ups. By working this program, you can exchange your unhealthy behavior(s) for the abundant life Jesus means for you to have.
· HURT is an emotional reaction to another person’s behavior or to a disturbing situation. (abuse, abandonment, codependency, divorce, relationship issues, etc.)
· HABIT is an addiction to someone or something. (alcohol, drugs, food, gambling, sex, shopping, smoking, etc.)
· HANG-UPS are negative mental attitudes that are used to cope with people or adversity. (anger, anxiety, depression, fear, guilt, isolation, resentment, shame, etc.)
Celebrate Recovery meets at Peace on Thursdays from 7-9pm. For more information please contact Linda Ames: (916) 524-4377 samesriver@aol.com
